In 2011, I found myself hating horn and music. After taking a year off of horn and school, I was taken to a concert of the band Muse. This concert made me realize that what was making me struggle with music wasn’t playing, but rather, I had no outlet for my own expression.

When deciding what to do next, I wrote a rock song lead by the horn, and this led to my formation of an ensemble that would become Rock Horn Project. Composing my entire senior recital with music lead by horn, with rhtym section and string quartet.

From 2013-2018 we played shows at bars, clubs, horn workshops, and festivals. I released two albums,

While freelancing as a hornist in LA took over, I will always be so proud of this ensemble, and the music we produced.
